Call-to-action or CTA is a crucial aspect of email marketing.  Your marketing effort reaches its goal only via an effective CTA.  In this post, I shall tell you some interesting ways you can design your CTAs in your email body content.  The placement of CTA in the email content can do a world of good to your marketing campaign.

1. Getting started with your design is the first thing you should keep in mind.  Giving a unique color to the button block within the email content or a hyperlink so it looks seriously clickable to the receiver is a great technique to say so.

2. A/B testing your button block is yet another aspect of including CTA within content.  Such testing will let you know which type of button design gets you better click-through rate for your email campaign.

3. Number of words within the CTA text matters most as well.  Make sure your word strength is maximum four.  Don't go beyond four words to form your CTA text.  Use strong words such as, 'Read On', 'Know More', Find Out', etc.., in the text.

4. Don't show too much of attention to the image aspect of your email content.  That's because most recipients are drawn only towards the design of the CTA area than the image design.  More over your email providers don't prefer to show images to your recipients.

5.. Placement of the CTA sounds important!  Isn't it?  The best results should be possible if the CTA is placed above the fold in the email content or in the right side of the side-bar well down the content.  Make sure you don't include more than 2 CTAs in your content and that too at two distinctly powerful places.  I leave it to your imagination and creativity here.
